These programs are an opportunity for students to work with local professional artists.

The Tree of Knowledge with Deanne Gilson
Mondays, 13 October to 1 December, 4-5.15pm (8 weeks)
Look at artworks in the Gallery collection, concentrating on trees and how they represent different cultures, times and places. Make your own cultural tree of knowledge by drawing, painting and creating a completed 3D tree.
Age: 5-9 years

All the Fun of the fair with Mark Maxwell
Tuesdays,  14 October to 2 December, 4-5.15pm (8 weeks)
Roll up, roll up for all the fun of Side Show Alley! Learn about how windup mechanisms for toys and rides work, so you can make a carousel, ferris wheel or rollercoaster.
Age: All Ages

Exploring Clay with Josh Pike
Wednesdays, 15 October to 3 December, 4-5.15pm (8 weeks)
Learn hand-building techniques for working with clay, taking inspiration from totems, talismans or icons in response to the Art Gallery's feature exhibition EIKON: Icons of the Orthodox Christian World.
Age: 7-12 years

Eight Week Term: $90 or $75 Member

Payment is required with booking.

All classes are supervised and artists have Working with Children Checks. Fees are payable on booking and not refundable.
