Learning in and through the Visual Arts

The Art Gallery of Ballarat (AGB) offers a variety of tours and workshops designed to appeal to students at different levels of education and promote creative thinking, visual literacy, communication skills, confidence in being in a gallery environment and self-confidence in personal interpretations of art. We aim to support classroom practice and extend knowledge and understanding of the gallery's unique permanent collection and constantly changing temporary exhibitions.
