Art Gallery of Ballarat Association Annual General Meeting

Wednesday 21 October 2015 at 7.30pm

Members are invited to attend the 131st Annual General Meeting of the Gallery Association, to be held in the McCain Hall, Art Gallery of Ballarat, at 7.30pm on Wednesday, 21 October 2015.

The guest speakers will be Ben Cox and Brenda Wellman, Art Gallery of Ballarat Exhibition Officers and designers, who are responsible for producing the Gallery's award-winning exhibition catalogues.

At the meeting, elections for the incoming Council will be held. Supper will be served at the end of the meeting. Copies of the Annual Report will be available.

All members are warmly invited to attend.

Call for Nominations to the Association Council

At the Annual General Meeting, up to 30 members of the Council will be elected. The role of the Council is to manage the affairs of the Association, and support the Gallery in its programs. Council meets every two months, on the third Wednesday, at 5.30pm. Members are expected to attend all meetings, and as well to participate actively in a sub-committee. Failure to attend three meetings without an apology leads to exclusion from Council. Nominees must be financial members of the Association, and be nominated by financial members.
