'Women through scarlet lenses is a stunning tribute to the women who have shaped her life, brought to life through an intricate and emotive application of lino printing. Her careful carving of each portrait, combined with the powerful use of the hatching technique, results in a piece that is both deeply personal and universally resonant. This work is a testament to the power of storytelling through printmaking, capturing the beauty, wisdom, and significance of women across generations.

The presentation of this work was its strength. By collating a series of prints into a sea of faces, the artist explores the idea of ageing and connection of women, which isn’t talked about enough across the generations. The subject matter is of a mature nature and the printing process is developed and used well to create a sense of character in the subject matter.'
